A BIT ABOUT MYSELF

My first experience with colored glass was at age 12 while playing with scraps from a demolished church.  In the 1970s, while attending Florida Keys Community College, I taught myself how to do stained glass by taking advantage of the most primitive of tools that were donated to the school.  In 1977 I received my AA in Art as well as an AS in Marine Science.  I moved to Hawaii where I received my BFA in design in 1979.  I taught the art of stained glass within the Hawaii Department of Education for several years before relocating to Mount Pleasant, SC in 1992 where I began exhibiting my glass at art shows.

All of my panels are copyrighted original designs. I also offer custom work. Please contact me at aworkofart@att.net for upcoming shows in the Southeast where you can view my glass in person.
